Brimstone Hill Fortress
A UNESCO World Heritage fortress on the northwest coast of St. Kitts, with views to Sint Eustatius and Saba.
Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. It was built by enslaved Africans over roughly a century and is one of the best-preserved historic fortifications in the Americas.
The citadel sits at the top of a steep volcanic hill above the west coast. On a clear day you can see Sint Eustatius and Saba across the water.
