EC$, US$ and paying on CaribHubs

The Eastern Caribbean dollar (EC$, or XCD) is the currency of St. Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, and the other members of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union. It has been pegged to the US dollar at EC$2.70 to US$1 since 1976.

Many businesses on the islands also take US dollars. When you pay in US$ in person, change usually comes back in EC$, so it helps to carry a little of both.
